I was in the Lakewood area when my 2021 Volvo truck started showing a check engine light. Called Torpedo Truck Repair in Fife WA and they told me to come over. They got me in right away even though they were busy, which I really appreciated. The team performed full computer diagnostics, completed my annual DOT inspection, replaced a leaking differential oil seal and fixed an exhaust leak in the DPF system by replacing a bad clamp. Everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand and the repair was finished quicker than I expected. Truck is running great now and I left with no warning lights. These guys really know Volvo trucks, diesel diagnostics and DPF repairs. They also have 24/7 emergency road service if you break down, which is good to know. Hands down one of the best semi truck repair shops in the Fife WA and Tacoma area. I’ll definitely be coming back next time my truck needs service.

Our 2019 International with Cummins engine started giving us electrical problems on the road. Low voltage, batteries weren’t charging right and the A/C kept acting weird. A friend recommended Torpedo Truck Repair in Fife WA and I’m glad we listened. The mechanics found the issue, replaced the alternator, installed four new batteries and changed the engine thermostat while the truck was in the shop. They explained everything in simple words and kept us updated during the repair. Truck is running great now with no charging issues at all. Great diesel truck repair shop with experienced mechanics. If you need truck diagnostics, electrical repair or Cummins engine service around Fife, I’d definitely recommend these guys.

Came to Torpedo Truck Repair in Kent WA with my 2020 Kenworth with PACCAR engine and Eaton Endurant transmission. Truck had issues with gear shifting, wasn’t smooth and sometimes delayed. The guys hooked up diagnostic computer, ran full truck diagnostics and did calibrations and adjustments on the transmission. After a few tests and software update everything came back to normal, shifts are smooth now and no more problems. You can tell these mechanics know what they’re doing with diesel trucks and transmissions. They also mentioned they handle a lot of other work — semi truck diagnostics, transmission repair, clutch jobs, DPF service and general truck repair. Very satisfied with the service, good team and easy to work with. Definitely recommend this shop if you need truck repair in Kent WA / Seattle area.

Awesome service from Torpedo Truck Repair in Kent WA. I was stuck on Holiday national and needed help with my Freightliner Cascadia. Called a few towing companies first but the prices were crazy high. Then I called Torpedo Truck Repair and Eugene answered the phone. He said they could handle it and had a towing bar for semi trucks, price was way more reasonable — probably 3x cheaper than the other towing services I called. The problem actually started after I did an oil change at Loves Truck Care and somehow my fuel pump got messed up. The guys at TTR checked the truck, found the issue in the fuel system and Maksym replaced the bad parts the same day. They cleaned the whole fuel system and used OEM parts, even gave warranty for the repair. Truck runs great again. I have to mention that they helped me also with my heater system, electrical diagnostic for cruise radar. Many other services available such as Semi Truck Emergency Road Service 24/7. Good diesel truck repair shop with real customer service. Thanks guys.

My 2015 Volvo VNL had a serious engine problem and a good friend of mine recommended Torpedo Truck Repair in Kent WA. He told me these guys are one of the most professional semi truck repair shops around the Seattle area, probably within at least 70–80 miles, so I decided to give them a shot. We ended up doing a full Cummins engine swap. I was honestly a little nervous about it at first, because that’s a big job, but the team handled it really well. They found a good used engine, did a small rebuild on it, checked everything and got it installed in about a week. They kept sending me progress pictures and updates during the whole process which I really appreciated. While the truck was in the shop we also replaced the front axle leaf spring bushings and did an Eaton manual transmission clutch replacement. The truck feels way stronger now and drives much better than before. Customer service was great and the mechanics clearly know diesel truck repair, engine work and diagnostics. If you need serious semi truck repair or engine work in the Seattle / Kent WA area, Torpedo Truck Repair is definitely worth checking out. I’m really glad I trusted these guys with my truck.
